  • Q: How is a refrigerated container powered?

    A: Powered refrigerated containers for trucks and other vehicles are run by diesel engines. Some refrigerated containers also use dry ice and other cooling agents to keep the interior cool.

  • Q: Can I choose the size of my refrigeration equipment?

    A: If you are renting the container, you would simply choose between sizes we have in stock. If you are purchasing the unit, we can customise your refrigeration equipment, designing and building it to suit your exact needs. Get in touch for a quote on customised refrigerated containers.

  • Q: How can I keep a commercial refrigerator in good condition?

    A: The best way to ensure your equipment stays in good condition is to have it checked and schedule regular maintenance servicing. Some general advice, in between services, would include keeping food away from the coils to prevent issues. Doors should remain closed wherever possible, that is it’s best not to prop the doors open while you go back and forth.

  • Q: Can I install my own refrigeration unit?

    A: DIY installation is not a good idea unless you are trained in such matters. The intricacies of handling commercial refrigeration units are best managed by experienced, licensed professionals.
